Delete, Cancel, or Unassign Shifts

Here's how you can delete, cancel, or unassign shifts on your schedule.

Delete/Cancel Shifts

Delete and cancel are essentially the same action, it just depends on if the shift is open or has a placement.

  1. From your schedule, click on the shift you want to delete or cancel.
  2. Click "Delete" in the bottom right corner. This will delete the shift and remove it from your schedule.

  3. Select a cancellation reason, or select other. Then click "Delete".

  4. The shift is now deleted, any shift with a placement is available to view by using filters. Click here for more information.

Unassign Shifts

  1. From your schedule, click on a shift with a placement.
  2. Click "Unassign" and then "Done" to save.

  3. This shift will now be considered open. You can either assign a different provider, or leave it open for your employees to pick up!

Cancelling Agency Shifts

To cancel shifts booked by agency staff, follow these instructions:

  1. Click on the shift booked by agency.

  2. To delete the entire shift, click "Delete"
  3. If you'd like to keep the shift but cancel the employee, click on "Cancel".

  4. Select a cancellation reason, then click "Confirm cancellation".

  5. The shift will automatically reopen, and be available to internal staff or other agencies.
