What Is Sage?

Sage is an AI-powered assistant available directly in Residex. Whether you're navigating a feature for the first time or need a fast refresher, Sage is ready to help without leaving your workflow.

How to Use Sage:

Sage is your go-to for:

• Software questions — How does this feature work? Where do I find this setting?
• Step-by-step guidance — Walking through Residex workflows and processes
• Quick troubleshooting — Getting pointed in the right direction, fast
• Resource referrals — Directing you to the right article or training material

Sage works hand-in-hand with two powerful resources:

Moving Sage on Your Screen

Sage can be repositioned anywhere on your screen to suit your workflow. To move her:

1. Locate the 6-dot handle on the right side of the Sage chat window.
2. Click and hold the handle.
3. Drag Sage to your preferred position on the screen.
4. Release to place her — Sage will snap to dock in that area.

Tip: If Sage is blocking content you need to see, simply drag her to a corner or edge of the screen using the handle.

🚫 STOP — DO NOT ENTER PHI

Sage is not a place for resident information.

Never enter Protected Health Information (PHI) when using Sage.

This means no:

• Resident names or initials

• Dates of birth or ages that could identify someone

• Medical record or chart numbers

• Diagnoses, conditions, or treatment details

• Medication lists or MAR details

• Room numbers, addresses, or any other identifying details

Sage is a software support tool only.

Use it only for questions about the Residex platform, workflows, and features — not for documenting, storing, or discussing resident data of any kind.

What Sage Is Not

• ❌ A clinical decision-making tool
• ❌ A replacement for your administrator, supervisor, or Residex Support team
• ❌ A place to document, store, or discuss resident information
• ❌ Able to make changes to your Residex system on your behalf
