Schedule Views

You can choose between four different schedule views in Kevala. Here's a breakdown of each option.

You can choose between 4 different schedule views in Kevala:

  1. Weekly by Shift time
  2. Weekly by Employee
  3. 6 weeks by Employee
  4. List view

Start by going to the "Schedule" tab and click the drop down menu to swap views.

Weekly by Shift time

The 1st schedule view option is a weekly view by shift time. This view is great for getting a quick look at your staffing gaps and who's on the schedule for certain days or shifts. It is also printable (Ctrl/Cmd+P).

Here is an example of what that view looks like:

Weekly by Employee

The 2nd schedule view option is a weekly view by employee. This view is helpful for building a specific employee's schedule, managing overtime, or checking for rotations.

6 weeks by Employee

The 3rd schedule view option is a 6 weeks by employee. For more detailed information on this view please click here.

This view shows 6 full weeks with the scheduled employees on the left and the days on the top. This view is helpful for viewing upcoming time off, finding upcoming open or pending shifts, and managing rotations (4-on-2-off, every other weekend, etc).

This view is grouped in the following way:

  • First - shift period (morning, daytime, night)
  • Second - position (alphabetical)
  • Third - labor pool (internal employees, then float pool, then agency)

List view

The 4th option is the list view where your schedule is sorted chronologically.

  • In order from left to right, you will see shift time, position, notes, and status.
  • To view the shift details, click anywhere in the row.
