Residex Connect - FAQ

Connect Messaging is a tool that allows residents, prospects and their designated contacts to securely message facility staff, and view/esign documents.

What is Residex Connect?

Residex Connect messaging is a form of communication between you and the facility that includes:

  • Sending/Receiving private messages
  • Sharing documents
  • eSigning documents

NOTE: Connect messages are not for use in an emergency.

Where do I go to log in?

Log in to Residex Connect at connect.residex.ai using the credentials sent to you via email.

How do I know if I have a new message?

  • You will be notified of a new message by either an email or text message. If you would like to change the method of receiving a message, you can make that change by navigating to:
    Your name in the upper right hand corner
  • Settings

Note: Contact the facility if you need to change your email or phone number.

Who can view my message?

A Connect Message that is sent to the facility is private, and can only be viewed by staff that have been designated by the facility.

Can I send a message to a specific person?

Connect Messages display in a shared inbox and can be viewed by any designated facility staff. Connect Messages cannot be sent to one specific staff person.

Can I unsend a message that I have sent?

After a Connect Message is sent, it cannot be unsent.

How quickly will my message be read and responded to by a facility staff?

Connect Messages are transmitted immediately. However, response times to a Connect Message that you sent may vary. Refer to someone from your facility about expected response times.

Note: This communication tool is not intended to replace phone calls or other time sensitive communication.

What makes Connect different from other communication methods?

The benefit of Residex Connect is that the important communication between you and your residents, families, and staff is all in one place, and does not get buried or lost amongst other emails or text messages.

Can I view documents sent via Connect?

When a report or document (that does not need a signature) is sent to a Connect user, you can view the report or document via Documents in connect.residex.ai. You can print a connect document by:

  • Selecting the desired document
  • Clicking Download PDF
  • Printing and/or saving the document to your device

Can I eSign a document in Connect?

When an eSignature request is sent to a Connect user, you can view the report to be signed via the eSignatures tab in connect.residex.ai. An eSignature document can be printed at any time before or after it is signed. Residex Connect eSignature requests must be signed within 7 days or they will expire.
