Labels

Adding labels to shifts will help organize your schedule and specify certain characteristics of a shift. For example, some organizations want to specify what type of facility the open shift is for (ex., Memory Care, Assisted Living, etc.), or they specify other aspects of the shift, like a training shift. Labels are specific to each department. Here is how to create and add labels to shifts at your community:

  1. Go to the "Schedule" tab

  2. Click on the toolbox icon and then click "Edit labels"

  3. On the Labels page, make sure you are on the department, click on "Add label"

  4. Fill in a label name and abbreviation. Employees will see the name of the label, and the schedule view will show the abbreviation.

  5. Once your labels are created, go back into the "Schedule" tab and click on a shift you wish to add a label, or create a new shift.
  6. Scroll down to the labels section on the shift, you may need to click "Advanced".
  7. Select the label(s) you would like to apply to the shift and save or add the shift.

  8. You will now see the label on that shift, in the bottom right corner.

  9. To add, edit, or remove any of your labels go back to the toolbox icon and click "Edit labels". Then click on the 3 dot menu and click "Edit" or "Archive"
