Cancel a Provider

Here's how you can cancel your employees from confirmed shifts, as needed.

  1. Click on the "Schedule" tab

  2. Click on the shift you need to cancel and click the red "Cancel" button

  3. A confirmation message will appear. Fill out the cancellation reason and click "Cancel provider" to complete the cancellation.

  4. The canceled shift will turn open and you can apply another provider.
    • Please note: Re-applying a provider triggers the same flow as it always has; a notification will be sent to the facility/community, and the new provider will need to be approved.
  5. The canceled provider will be notified if applicable.
    • Please note: To view the record of cancellation, click into the shift and click on the "History" tab.

Alternatively, you can cancel shifts from the employee profile.

  1. Go to the "People" tab and click on the employee you need to cancel a shift for.
  2. Click on "Schedule" on the right hand side.

  3. Find the shift to cancel and click on the row.
  4. Click on the Shift info tab, then follow the instructions above to cancel the shift.

That's it! You've successfully canceled a shift.
