Cancel a Provider
Here's how you can cancel your employees from confirmed shifts, as needed.
- Click on the "Schedule" tab

- Click on the shift you need to cancel and click the red "Cancel" button

- A confirmation message will appear. Fill out the cancellation reason and click "Cancel provider" to complete the cancellation.

- The canceled shift will turn open and you can apply another provider.
- Please note: Re-applying a provider triggers the same flow as it always has; a notification will be sent to the facility/community, and the new provider will need to be approved.
- The canceled provider will be notified if applicable.
- Please note: To view the record of cancellation, click into the shift and click on the "History" tab.

Alternatively, you can cancel shifts from the employee profile.
- Go to the "People" tab and click on the employee you need to cancel a shift for.
- Click on "Schedule" on the right hand side.

- Find the shift to cancel and click on the row.
- Click on the Shift info tab, then follow the instructions above to cancel the shift.

That's it! You've successfully canceled a shift.
